The all-new adidas Originals NMD S1 x PHILLLLLTHY is a collaboration between adidas Originals and Phillip Leyesa, a Brooklyn-based designer who not too long ago became viral for his custom-dyed blue NMD’s. A DIY project that had the world drooling for a general release. Well, now is your time to secure a sought-after pair, as adidas turned your wishes into reality.

The futuristic silhouette is part of adidas’ NMD franchise and is constructed with a Primeknit upper and signature encapsulated BOOST cushioning. The bulky yet streamlined three-stripe sneaker has signature bumpers on the midsole and has rope-like laces.

To celebrate the silhouette that’s served as a canvas for many creative sneaker enthusiasts including Phillip Leyesa, we went from one craftsman to another and got a peek into Truls Mårtensson’s creative space inside the world-famous Gustavsberg porcelain factory located in Stockholm’s archipelago. Once upon a time the home of Lisa Larsson, among many legendary names within the world of ceramic crafts. Truls works with ceramics to transform the societal consumer culture into his pieces. With strong references to historical pop art, from comic characters and logos, to iconic fashion pieces - Truls art takes shape in a brilliant mash of pop culture and traditional craft.

The adidas Originals NMD S1 x PHILLLLLTHY is releasing December 8th, with SIGN UP open in the SNS App until December 7th, 2022.
