adidas Originals Nite Jogger Launch in London

Last Friday we made our way to London to celebrate the release of the adidas Originals Nite Jogger. The three stripes hosted the release in a proper Nite Jogger way, building a creative hub just south of London to experience the sneaker in its natural nocturnal habitat. A disused gas station and car repair shop were turned into a playground for creators to perceive the adidas Nite Jogger in its roots, with a lot of darkness and flashes to excite the reflective elements of the silhouette. After “cashing-out” tokens from an ATM, which were used as currency at the respective creative sites, guests had the chance to create tons of gems, such as design night-vison t-shirts, develop their images in a dark room and work with scanners to print posters. adidas knows the value of experience and the potential of creativity as a social, collective experience, they mastered it, to be honest, topping off the evening with performances by Tiffany Calver and UK Grime artist Ambush, who turned the location in a mosh-pit in no second.

Originally designed as the first running sneaker for the night in the ‘70s, the adidas Nite Jogger was designed to be seen when it’s dark around us. With advanced technology at hand, adidas Originals introduces an updated version of the trainer, with mainly blacked-out upper and reflective elements to be seen at all times. The new Nite Jogger is a consistent next-step in its evolution; a culture-pushing modern-day running silhouette turned lifestyle sneaker.
