Johanna Tordjman: DN41R @ Sneakersnstuff Paris Recap

On Wednesday SNS Paris held the opening of a 4-day exhibition by Johanna Tordjman, a French artist born in 1990 who includes the emotions of a whole defragmented society that seeks to rebuild itself, in her artwork. Her creative ambition is to bring back everything that is fragment and enigma to unity.

Now, as part of her exhibition DN41R at SNS Paris, she created a one of a kind piece of art only visible at the SNS shop. With her glitch technique, Tordjman puts forward the aleatory dimension of her works. Visitors were able to explore this notion by making their own silk screen t-shirts with various ink to create a unique and customized piece. The silkscreen stand was stormed by our guests to print the SNS logo reinterpreted by Johanna Tordjman on a t-shirt, which resulted in beautiful SNS x Johanna Tordjman t-shirts, signed by the artist herself.

Her goal, to create a connection between the artwork and the visitor by dedicating a piece to the audience. Accustomed to portraits, she wants to highlight the viewer’s back, facing a piece of artwork (in the spirit of the visuals below).

Tordjman was present at the opening of the exhibition at SNS Paris to present her work and meet the visitors during the whole experience. The evening was held in a more than friendly spirit, accompanied by the delicious food & drinks by our friends Paperboy and Desperados to quench our guests.
