Nike Air Max 90 "Vinyl" feat. CKTRL
Over the past few months, Nike Sportswear executed one of the finest music-inspired concepts with the Side A/Side B pack, a homage to the black gold as well as historic Air Max 90 colorways. It’s a daunting task to flip such a prestige object, where devotees from both ponds of crate diggers and sneakerheads collide. The Swoosh has done it, and will do it again, with the upcoming Nike Air Max 90 “Vinyl.” Build on a black mesh, riffled vinyl overlays and faux nubuck upper, the iconic silhouette features distinctive Vinyl detailing, such as the tongue disc tag.
For the proper shine, we linked up with South London-based elusive musician and tastemaker Bradley Miller also known as cktrl. The record connoisseur brought us to his favorite Vinyl shops in London, hitting up Flashback Records, Stranger Than Paradise Records, The BBE Store and Tome Records.

"Vinyl means a lot, its something that's like very precious because it's like you ain't even allowed to touch them. Like if you get even near the turntable like, my dad would get really funny."
"I'm always looking for a surprise when I go to look for records because it's like a lot of record shops have closed down that I remember from growing up, so to go out now and still find places that stock things good like you can tell that people are like - they still care."
