Recap: Fattaru 20 years

20 years ago the album Fatta Eld hit the airwaves of Sweden and it was a milestone in Swedish rap music. The young men behind the sounds was the Swedish group Fattaru - DJ Kojak, Mackan, Mingan and Rah Balder and their producers Masse, Salla, Oskar Skarp.

The music and the lyrics were heard everywhere with influences that were new to the Swedish rap scene. The battle rap energy was there with the gritty southern bounce and sounds from the future. Fattaru’s contribution to the Swedish rap scene was cemented yet again on their return to the big stage last weekend.

SNS was there at the beginning of the group's journey and produced some of their early merch. So when they asked us to collaborate again for the anniversary we didn’t hesitate.

We started off with a friends & family panel talk in the SNS Stockholm store, led by Nathan Hamelberg, followed by a POP UP at the venue where we released a new SNS x Fattaru t-shirt that quickly sold out.
