SNS “Kinenbi” Collection

SNS is releasing a 5-piece “Kinenbi” collection in collaboration with Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi. To accompany the collection, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the adidas Originals Superstar with a customizable vegan construction of the milestone sneaker, that nods to a previous work by Kazuki with adidas Originals, which will release globally on December 28, 2020.

With this latest collection featuring artwork inspired by historic Japanese and Swedish flowers seen during anniversaries and celebrations, SNS ends the year in ornamented “Kinenbi” style, “Kinenbi” translates to “In celebration of” or “anniversary” in Japanese. Spearheaded by the super limited premium SNS x KZK Japanese organic cotton Parka. The beautiful flower artwork takes focus throughout the rest of the SNS x KZK “Kinenbi” collection. Further pieces that highlight the black and white embellishments are the knitted Cardigan made from certified sustainable Mohair, which features a Sazanka flower on the back, as well as a comfortable organic cotton T-Shirt that features a floral chest print. Complemented by a classic workwear pant in Japanese organic cotton and a recycled cotton Beanie. The collection is topped off and accompanied by an adidas Originals Superstar constructed with a Velcro upper that is customizable with signature flower patches. Inspired by Kazuki’s Velcro adidas Adicolor project from 2007, SNS pays homage to the project with their take on the adidas Superstar, which offers the possibility to add the collection’s graphics across the upper to match the clothing.

The SNS x KZK “Kinenbi” Collection will be exclusively available on sneakersnstuff.com and in all Sneakersnstuff locations. The SNS x KZK Parka by Kazuki Kuraishi as well as the SNS x adidas Originals Superstar are only available via Raffle in the SNS app, with sign-ups starting on the 21st and closing on December 27.
