SNS x New Balance 991

In 2005, SNS co-founders Erik and Peter visited the famous New Balance factory in Flimby, UK, to design their first New Balance 577 collaboration. As the story goes time was limited during their trip and that first, iconic collaboration came to life in just 10mins. The rest is New Balance x SNS and sneaker history.

To relive the moment and celebrate 40 years of New Balance shoemaking in Flimby, SNS brings back the two iconic colorways, this time on the New Balance 991. Crafted with an ABZORB midsole, the Flimby-made 991s features premium leather, and pigskin suede overlays, offering a yellow, blue, and white look on Erik’s design. At the same time, Peter utilized dark navy, white, and grey. Just like the two original pairs.

In honor of the coastal town’s rich and versatile history of providing more activities than crafting iconic New Balance sneakers, SNS highlights the “to-dos” in this North-Western shoreline gem.
